William Ernst

William F. Ernst, 92, of Howard Lake, Minn., formerly of Annandale, Minn., died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at his home, after a battle with kidney failure.

He is survived by his children, Charlotte (Dale) Jopp of Hutchinson, Minn., Susan (Peter) Lenz of Waconia, Minn., William Jr. (Faye) of Young America, Minn., Nadine (Dennis) Jopp of Maple Lake, Minn., Nancy (Gerald) Adams of Jackson, Wanda (Rob) Yelton of Maple Lake and Jill Ernst (fiance Richard Moore) of Howard Lake; family friends, Rose Shumpert and family; 17 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; four great-stepgrandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Annandale. Burial will be in Corinna Cemetery.

Visitation will be two hours before the service.

Dingmann Funeral Care in Annandale is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials are preferred to the National Kidney Foundation or the Fresenius Medical Care in Buffalo, Minn.

Pallbearers will be Troy Lenz; Todd, David and Timothy Jopp; Eric Ernst; Nathan, Joshua and Jacob Adams.
