William F. Edwards, 68, of Castaic, Calif., died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 1997, in Hesperia, Calif.
He was born July 17, 1929, at Chaffee, son of William E. and Mary Magdelane Humphrey Edwards.
Edwards had lived in California the past 30 years. He was a supervisor with a home rehabilitation service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include five sons, Timothy Edwards of Houston, Mo., Ricky, Gary and David Edwards of St. Louis, Daniel Edwards of Arnold; a daughter, Mary Simmons of St. Louis; four brothers, Leon Edwards of Los Angeles, Calif., Benny, Dean and Ronnie Edwards of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Lorraine McCoy of Dexter, Alice Geiser of St. Louis, Mildred Bullen of Red Bay, Ala., Wanda Taylor of Puxico; and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with Tom Morris officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
