SCOTT CITY -- William Daniel Georger, 82, of Scott City, died Monday, Feb. 21, 1994, at his home.
He was born Oct. 19, 1911, at Kelso, son of Robert and Bertha Schoen Georger. He and Anita S. Kiefer were married April 26, 1941. She died Jan. 23, 1986.
Georger had worked at Florsheim Shoe Co. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 6420 of Scott City, and a 4th Degree with Knights of Columbus Assembly 0568 in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include two brothers, John Georger of St. Louis, August Georger of Phoenix, Ariz., and a sister, Camilla Seyer of Chaffee.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City after 3 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 6, and KC service at 7.
Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Church. The Rev. Pat Wissman will officiate, with burial in St. Augustine Cemetery at Kelso.
