BENTON -- William Anthony Weber, 86, of Benton died Sunday, May 12, 1991, at his home. He was born April 4, 1905, at Benton, the son of August and Gertrude Schaefer Weber. BENTON -- William Anthony Weber, 86, of Benton died Sunday, May 12, 1991, at his home.

He was born April 4, 1905, at Benton, the son of August and Gertrude Schaefer Weber. On Sept. 16, 1943, he married Mary Catherine Wilhelm at Illmo. She survives.

He was a retired farmer, and a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton.

Other survivors include a son, Leonard G. Weber of Benton; a daughter, Marilyn Young of Defiance, Mo.; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call after 5:30 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, where a prayer service will be conducted at 8 p.m.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton, with the Rev. Oscar Lukefahr officiating. Burial will be in the St. Denis Catholic Cemetery in Benton.
