PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- William R. "Tony" Anderson, 66, of Perryville died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 15, 1934, in Mt. Vernon, Ill., son of James Troy and Naomi Weatherford Anderson. He and Renita Edmond were married March 17, 1979, at Perryville...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- William R. "Tony" Anderson, 66, of Perryville died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 15, 1934, in Mt. Vernon, Ill., son of James Troy and Naomi Weatherford Anderson. He and Renita Edmond were married March 17, 1979, at Perryville.

Anderson was a member of American Legion Post 133, Amvets Post 94, and Eagles Aerie.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Deanna Jones of Perryville; a brother, Kenny Cole of Perryville; two sisters, Delores Hackman of Illinois, Carolyn Schuman of St. Charles, Mo.; and a grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Saturday after 6:30 a.m.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in White Water Christian Church Cemetery.
