William Albert Holland, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Oct. 11, 1996, at his home.
He was born Oct. 18, 1919, at Sikeston, son of William and Omie Ramsey Holland.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church at Jackson. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the Army.
He married Orene Woods on Oct. 13, 1942, at Malden. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Ron Holland of Plano, Texas; a daughter, Cathy Seitz of Jackson; six brothers, Jerry Holland of Springhill, Fla., Vernie Holland of Cape Girardeau, Jewell Holland of Mountain City, Tenn., Walter Holland of Paragould, Ark., Alfred Holland of Burton, Mich, Richard Holland of Dexter; two sisters, Mary Moss of Charleston, Mo., and Ethel Morrison of Pontotoc, Miss.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel with the Rev. Bud Schott officiating. Burial will be in Mounds Cemetery at Lilbourn.
