ADVANCE, Mo. -- N. Willard Tidwell, 68, of Advance died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 3, 1933, at Brownwood, Mo., son of Leonard and Myrtle Hitt Tidwell. He and Ina Dennison were married Sept. 30, 1950, in Piggott, Ark.
Tidwell was a 1950 graduate of Advance High School.
He worked at Mirly Truck Sales in Advance from 1955-86, and at Duckett Truck Center in Sikeston, Mo., from 1986-98. He was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Tidwell served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Kerry Tidwell of Morley, Mo., Daryl and Kevin Tidwell of Advance; two brothers, Kenneth and Doyle Tidwell of Advance; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
Funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home. The Revs. Eric Hodge and Ray Greenlee will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Advance.
