Stager, 75, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 1993, at West Houston Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 11, 1917, in Cape Girardeau, son of Charles R. and Myrtle Stager. He was a 1935 graduate of Central High School, and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Willard Stager Jr. of Houston, Charles Stager of Pearland, Texas; a sister, Juanita Golay of Alma, Mich., and four grandchildren.
