Willadean Brown, 76, of Cape Girardeau passed away July 21, 2020, at Life Care Center.
She was born Nov. 8, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Woodrow and Ercie Duncan Shavnore. Willadean and Roy McMillen were united in marriage in September 2019 in Cape Girardeau, and he survives of the home.
Willadean had been a sales clerk at Macy's in Cape Girardeau for 25 years. She enjoyed sewing and painting sceneries.
Survivors include a son, Edward Brown of Jackson; daughters, Sandy (William) Tegel of Cape Girardeau and Julie (David) Newell of Cape Girardeau; brother, Jiles Markham of Advance, Missouri; sister, Olive Faye Wallace of Lowndes, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Janet James.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with David Newell and Liz Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Safe House for Women of Cape Girardeau.
