DEXTER -- Funeral for Wilford "Bill" Cureton of Dexter will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Ted Stone will officiate, with burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
Cureton, 47, died Friday, May 5, 2000, at his home.
He was born March 6, 1953, in Bessville, son of Charlie and Iona Skaggs Cureton. He and Donna J. Wilder were married May 7, 1994.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Casey Cureton and Chris Radin of the home, Jason Radin of St. Louis, John Brown of St. James; three daughters, Lacey Cureton and Crystal Radin of the home, and Mary Rudd of Chillicothe.
Also surviving are five brothers, Melvin Cureton of Bell City, Curtis, Earnest and Milford Cureton of Crowder, Winford Cureton of Sikeston; three sisters, Pauletta Bell of Bell City, Kathreen Hamilton and Berdie Wilkerson of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
