TAMMS, Ill. -- Wilburn L. Huffman, 72, of Tamms, Ill. died Thursday, Oct. 15, 1992 at his home.
He was born at Mill Creek, Ill. on March 9, 1920 to George and Nellie Heater Huffman.
He was a member of the E&R Church of Tamms, and a lifelong member of the Carroll Foster V.F.W. Post of Anna, Ill.
He retired as a first class sergeant with the Army after 25 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II and Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Julia B. Donahue Huffman of Tamms; two daughters, Donna Holshouser of Jonesboro, Ill. and Jerri Partridge of Anna, Ill.; one son, Tom Huffman of Carbondale; and two grandsons.
Visitation will be tonight between 6 and 8 at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jesse Hendrix officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola.
