ANNA, Ill. -- Wilbur L. "Ubie" Grisham, 72, of Anna, died Monday, Oct. 11, 1993, at the VA Medical Center in Marion.
He was born Feb. 16, 1921, in Centralia, son of Milas and Ruth Settlemoir Grisham. He and Wanda Leavell were married May 10, 1945. She died Dec. 29, 1989. He and Vera Hickam were married Feb. 21, 1991.
Grisham was a member of First Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge 520 AF&AM, and Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455, all in Anna.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Marsha Ridenhour of Anna; a son, William Grisham of Campbellsville, Ky.; a brother, retired Lt. Col. Jack Grisham of Cape Girardeau; three stepdaughters, Robin Huppert of Makanda, Barbara Gearhart of Carbondale, Brenda Merriman of Anna; a stepson, Clifton Hickam of Carterville; three grandsons; 10 stepgrandchildren, and 13 great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. John Gearing will officiate, with burial in Anna Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
