SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Wilbur L. Barks, 76, of Sedgewickville died Friday, March 19, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 29, 1927, at Lixville, Mo., son of Lewis and Barbara Bohnert Barks. He and Goldie "Jean" Crabtree were married in May 1959.
Barks was a gravedigger and truck driver.
Survivors include his wife of St. Louis; two daughters, Diana Barks and Debbie Welker of Sedgewickville; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and six sisters.
Friends may call today from 6:30 a.m. until time of service at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, Mo.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Nancy Gillard officiating. Burial will be in Whitewater Presbyterian Cemetery.
