Wilbert V. "Wib" Reisenbichler, 87, of Pocahontas passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 6, 1927, in Pocahontas to Adolf and Hedwig Kutscher Reisenbichler. He and Margie Wilson Rastl were married May 14, 1955.

Wib was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas, where he served in many capacities. He was employed 66 years at Bowman Milling Co. in Pocahontas and held various offices. Wib served on the Pocahontas Town Board and was a former mayor.

He served in the Missouri National Guard.

Loving survivors include his wife of 59 years, Margie; a stepdaughter, Maryln Rastl of Cape Girardeau; a son, Vernon (Juvy) Reisenbichler of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Godiva and Christopher Reisenbichler of St. Louis; a sister-in-law, Rita Edwards of Pocahontas; a niece and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Dillman and Lennert Reisenbichler.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church, with the Rev. Virgil Kelm officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
