SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Funeral service for Wilbert Neil Lukefahr of Sedgewickville will be held at 2 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville. The Revs. W.D. Snyder and Kelly Brotherton will officiate, with burial in Sedgewickville Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6:30 a.m. today.
Lukefahr, 68, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 1994, at St. Joseph Hill Infirmary at Eureka.
He was born July 28, 1925, at Perryville, son of Reuben and Anna Klemp Lukefahr. He and Ruby S. Statler were married Aug. 4, 1946. She died Oct. 20, 1970.
Lukefahr was a retired farmer, and member of Sedgewickville Lutheran Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include three sons, Garry Lukefahr of St. James, Kevin Lukefahr of Phoenix, Ariz., Keith Lukefahr of Sedgewickville; three brothers, Howard Lukefahr of Perryville, Dewey Lukefahr of Jackson, Robert Lukefahr of Vista, Calif.; two sisters, Delma Hoffman of Linn, Betty Yount of Sedgewickville, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
