When not occupied with the farming operation, he and Viola loved to go dancing on Saturday nights. They would, on occasions, take bus trips with friends touring the U.S. Wesley loved spending time with his family; he cherished family gatherings.
Wesley had been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau since 1985.
