He was born Feb. 4, 1930, in Portageville, Mo., to Francis and Lena Brasher Toton.
Wendell served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Portageville Cemetery, with the Rev. Jim Woeltje officiating.
