WENDELL CORZINE

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Wendell Corzine, 67, of Dongola died Thursday, March 16, 1995, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born Jan. 9, 1928, in Dongola, the son of Orlan and Edna Holt Corzine. He was married Feb. 26, 1950, to Colleen Fisher.

Corzine, along with his wife and sons, owned and operated Corzine's Hardware and Appliance Store in Dongola for many years. He was a member of the Dongola Church of Christ and the Union County Hospital Board. He had been active for many years on the Dongola Fire Department and had served as fire chief.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Greg and Chris Corzine of Dongola; and two sisters, Paige Thoroman of Mount Kisco, N.Y., and Yvonne Staley of Fort Worth, Texas.

Friends may call today after 5 p.m. and on Sunday until time for the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna. David Mosley will officiate. Burial will follow in American Legion Cemetery.
