JACKSON -- Welton C. Nees, 82, of Arcadia, died Thursday, March 25, 1993, at his home. He was born at Valle Mines, son of Charles Lee and Anna Rowe Nees. He and Anna Rackley were married Oct. 7, 1944. Nees was a retired agent-telegrapher with Union Pacific Railroad, working in Jackson 13 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II...

JACKSON -- Welton C. Nees, 82, of Arcadia, died Thursday, March 25, 1993, at his home.

He was born at Valle Mines, son of Charles Lee and Anna Rowe Nees. He and Anna Rackley were married Oct. 7, 1944.

Nees was a retired agent-telegrapher with Union Pacific Railroad, working in Jackson 13 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Paula Brunke of Scott City; a grandson, and stepgrandson.

He was preceded in death by a grandson and stepgrandson.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bryson Funeral Home in Pilot Knob. The Rev. Vernon Parker will officiate, with burial in Arcadia Valley Memorial Park at Arcadia.
