MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Weldon L. Green, 84, of Marble Hill died Friday, May 25, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 8, 1923, at Marquand, Mo., son of Harry E. and Pearl Rhodes Green.
He served in World War II, earning three Bronze Stars. He was a retired machinist for Carter Carburetor in St. Louis and a member of Liberty Congregational Methodist Church near Marquand.
Survivors include two nephews and five nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Mo.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kirby Grindstaff officiating. Burial with full military rites by the Missouri Honor Team will be in Patton Cemetery.
