MARBLE HILL -- Webster Slinkard, 88, of Marble Hill died Saturday, April 6, 1996, at his home.
He was born Oct. 15, 1907, near Marquand, the son of John S. and Mary Davault Slinkard. He married Lola Eaker on Oct. 24, 1942. She died Aug. 16, 1987.
Slinkard worked as a farmer and was a member of the Point Pleasant General Baptist Church.
Survivors include his friends, Frankie and Cheryl Smith and Krystal Stroup, all of Marble Hill.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenny Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
