W.E. "Dub" Hesselrode, 67, 1102 Patricia, died Monday, Jan. 11, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born July 8, 1925, at Charleston, son of Walter Robert and Effie Mae Perkins Hesselrode. He and Bonnie Sue Cherry were married June 7, 1946, in Hernando, Miss.
Hesselrode was owner and operator of Southern Boat 25 years, and a professional guide at Run-N-Lake Goose Club in Jonesboro, Ill., for 25 years.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Douglas Hesselrode of Jackson, Kim Hesselrode of Fallbrook, Calif.; a brother, Robert Hesselrode of Kennett, and a grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Leigh Earley will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
