PERRYVILLE -- Wayne P. Lawrence of Perryville, 51, died at his home Saturday, Feb. 3, 1996.
He was born Aug. 14, 1944, at Cape Girardeau, son of Cecil Shomaker and Ada Norris Price. His adopted parents were Eleanor Klobe Lawrence and Ernst Lawrence.
He married Mavis Berkbuegler Feb. 5, 1966, in Beihle. She survives.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He was a Navy veteran.
Survivors include a son, David Lawrence of Perryville; three daughters, Mandy Wingerter, Laura Leuckel and Becky Stortz, all of Perryville; three brothers, Marvin Brawley of Winona, Ron Shomaker and Don Shomaker, both of McKinzie, Tenn.; three sisters, Janet Willingham of Winona, Linda Bankers of Clay City, Ill., and Judy Shomaker of McKenzie, Tenn.; three stepsisters, Marie Newcom of Perryville, Mavis Disbrow of St. Louis and Beverly Mathews of St. Charles.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church in St. Mary, with the Revs. Kevin Fausz and Richard Kasznel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Young & Sons Funeral Home today from 4 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 6:30 to 9:20 a.m. A wake service will be held today at 7:30 p.m.
