WAYNE DECAMP

JACKSON -- Wayne V. DeCamp, 86, of Jackson, died Wednesday, June 5, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 23, 1909, in Jackson, Mich., son of Arthur and Vina Bailey DeCamp. He and Geneva Cox were married Jan. 5, 1947, in Hammond, Ind.

DeCamp was a graduate of Michigan State University. He worked in the plastics industry 30 years, retiring in 1976 as plant manager at Becton Dickinson. He moved to this area 20 years ago.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Wayne DeCamp of Monroe Falls, Ohio; a daughter, Lynn Laux of St. Louis, and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Grant Gillard and Vic Van Schaik officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
