MOUND CITY, Ill. -- Wathie L. Bennett, 83, of Mound City died Saturday, July 16, 2011, at home. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill. The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Scott Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Mound City National Cemetery with full military honors given by the Illinois National Guard Burial Team and area veterans...
