Warren Ernst

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Warren T. Ernst, 69, of Perryville died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, at his home.

He was born Sept. 21, 1952, in Perryville to Weldon J. Ernst and Wilbertta T. Bohnert. He and Mirna M. (Avila Palacios) Ernst were married in Jackson on Oct. 24, 2003.

Warren was a graduate of St.Vincent High School and worked as a farmer.

He was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle.

Survivors include daughter, Sarah (Andreas) Tillmans of Weimar, Germany; son, Matthew Ernst of Friedheim; stepson, Alex Landero, Puebla, Mexican; brother, Terry Ernst of Perryville; two sisters, Suzette (Wally) Schilling of Perryville, Vicky (Doug) Epley of Wildwood, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Oliver & Madeleine Tillmans, Haileigh, Caitlyn, Matthew Jr., Reagan and Allysen Ernst and Aylin Alexandra and Aitana Amayrani Landero.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Von Ernst.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Ford and Young Funeral Home with rosary recited at 8:30 a.m.

He will then be taken St. Maurus Catholic Church in Beihle for Mass with the Rev. Patrick Christopher officiating. Burial will be at St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery in Biehle.
