PERRYVILLE -- Warren Raymond "Cotton" Boyer, 83, of Perryville died Saturday, July 17, 1999, at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 21, 1915 at Dexter, son of Prosper and Mary Grifford Boyer.
On July 21, 1967, he married Elizabeth Besacon. She died July 11, 1997.
He had been a laborer for 30 years for the Frisco Railroad.
He is survived by a son, Warren Lee Boyer of Oklahoma City; two stepsons, Richard Duvall of Perryville and Carl Duvall of Sulphur Springs, Texas; three daughters, Judy Lind of Shawnee, Okla., Joyce Phillips of Fredericktown and Janet King of Perryville; a stepdaughter, Patricia Blessing of Perryville; 25 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville and from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Ed Hankinson officiating. Burial will be at Home Cemetery in Perryville.
