MINER -- Funeral for Warren Bailey of Miner will be held at 2 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Gerald Penn will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
Bailey, 77, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 8, 1921, at Gray Ridge, son of John and Ruth Whitney Bailey. He married the former Lorene McDowell.
Bailey lived in Charleston most of his life.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Daniel Bailey of Greensboro, N.C.; a daughter, Kathy Kerley of Golconda, Ill.; a brother, Harvey Bailey of Miner; a sister, Eunice Abernathy; and eight grandchildren.
