Granay, 92, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1994, at City Care Center.
He was born Jan. 15, 1902, in Union County, son of Oscar and Aurelia Toler Granay. He and Elizabeth Evers were married Jan. 15, 1925. She died Nov. 24, 1984.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
