ADVANCE, Mo. -- Wanda Lou Stehlin, 77, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at her home in Advance.
She was born July 27, 1935, at Bell City, Mo., daughter of Henry and Lois Adkins Johnson. She and Wayne Stehlin were married Sept. 4, 1954, in St. Louis. He preceded her in death March 13, 2009.
Wanda worked for 30 years at United Van Lines in Fenton, Mo., and more recently worked at Bits of Heaven in Advance. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Advance. Wanda graduated from Maplewood High School in Richmond Heights, Mo., in 1953.
Survivors include a son, Kevin (Phyllis) Stehlin of St. Charles, Mo.; three daughters, Kim (Sam) Talley of Jackson, Kathy (Patrick) Nenninger and Karen (Kevin) Robinett of Advance; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Advance, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance.
