SIKESTON, Mo. -- Wanda May Singletery, 87, of Sikeston died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 15, 1916, in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of Frank P. and Augusta Koch Woodward. She and Balus Singletery were married Sept. 2, 1955, in Galesburg, Mich.
Singletery was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, William Dennis of Boise, Idaho, Douglas Dennis of Redlands, Calif.; a daughter, Marcy Walters of Sikeston; a sister, Janet Phwolsawsdi of Atlanta, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe McCullough officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
