ANNA, Ill. -- Wanda Reed, 86, of Anna died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born July 5, 1912, at Golconda, daughter of Perry and Ethel Wagoner Davidson. She was married to Wendell Reed. He died in 1967.
She was retired from the dietary department at Union County Hospital.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Anna. She was a lifelong member of Anna Star Chapter 522, the VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Bill Reed of Cobden; a brother, the Rev. R. H. Davidson of Harrisburg; a sister, Ruth Etcheson of Decatur; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Larry Shacklee will officiate, with burial in the Anna Cemetery.
