Wanda Lee Peetz, 81, of Scott City died Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 10, 1928, in Arkansas, daughter of Silas and Carrie Henson Jones. She and Walter Peetz were married Aug. 4, 1966, at Fredericktown, Mo.
Peetz was a member of Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City and FOE 3775 of Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Deana (Todd) Corbin of Petersburg, Ill.; a daughter-in-law, Joan Prichard of St. Louis; three brothers, Donnie Jones of St. Louis, Bobby and Gene Jones of O'Fallon, Mo.; two sisters, Sue Karg of Florida, Ruby Rinehart of Arnold, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
A son, Jerry Prichard, and a sister, Helen Duke, preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, and from 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at Eisleben Lutheran Church.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Bob Azinger officiating. Interment will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Eisleben Lutheran Church.
