THEBES, Ill. -- Wanda Marie Parmer, 75, of Thebes, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1996, at her home.
She was born Dec. 21, 1920, in Gale, daughter of Ernest and Eliza Jackson Prather. She and Floyd H. Parmer were married Jan. 22, 1938, in Jackson, Mo. He died Feb. 26, 1994.
Parmer had lived in the Gale and Thebes communities all her life.
Survivors include a son, Ronnie Parmer of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; a daughter, Deloris Clubb of Thebes; four brothers, Robert and Danny Prather of Thebes, Wayne Prather of state of California, Leslie Prather of Olive Branch; two sisters, Virginia Tupper and Patricia Mathis of Thebes; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau from 4-8 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Curtis Alderson officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes.
