RANDLES, Mo. -- Wanda Mae Newberry, 57, of Randles died Wednesday, June 21, 2000, at her home, following an extended illness. She was born June 1, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Joe and Daisy Skinner Niswonger. She and Edward Coomer were married in January 1965. He died in May 1991. She later married Paul Newberry May 27, 1994...

RANDLES, Mo. -- Wanda Mae Newberry, 57, of Randles died Wednesday, June 21, 2000, at her home, following an extended illness.

She was born June 1, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Joe and Daisy Skinner Niswonger. She and Edward Coomer were married in January 1965. He died in May 1991. She later married Paul Newberry May 27, 1994.

Newberry was a nurse assistant. She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Edward Coomer Jr. of Chaffee; a stepson, Sean Newberry of Cape Girardeau; a stepdaughter, Chris Wilson of Killeen, Texas; her mother of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Patsy Moreno of Jackson, Mary Moore and Diane Craft of Cape Girardeau, Ruth Wibley of Chaffee; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery at Perkins.
