Wanda Faye Moore, 64, of Cape Girardeau died peacefully Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 10, 1958, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Hansel Rudolph and Velma Marie Zanatell Arnac. Wanda Faye Moore, 64, of Cape Girardeau died peacefully Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 10, 1958, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Hansel Rudolph and Velma Marie Zanatell Arnac.

After graduating from Poplar Bluff (Missouri) High School, she and Joe Moore were married July 6, 1979, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Poplar Bluff.

She was office manager at Davault Insurance Agency.

Wanda was a devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt who took great joy in hosting family celebrations and showering her grandchildren with affection. As a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Beta Sigma Phi and a book club, she cherished her many close friendships.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Justin (Sarah) Moore of St. Louis and Cody (Kelsey) Moore of Scottsdale, Arizona; two brothers, Gary Arnac of Cape Girardeau and Dwayne (Gina) Arnac of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Sandra (Gene) Doyle and Lou (Bill) Hays, both of Cape Girardeau; and grandchildren, James, John and Julia Moore.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Rick Jones officiating.

Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
