Wanda L. Boxdorfer, 50, of 1620 Scivally Drive, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Aug. 5, 1942, at Perry County, daughter of Edgar and Virginia Blessing Bohnert.

She married Ervin Boxdorfer, Oct. 27, 1962, at Perryville.

She is a member of the Good Shephard Lutheran Church and the Ladies Guild at the church.

Boxdorfer was a 1960 graduate of Perryville High School.

She worked for the Cape Art Engraving Company in Cape Girardeau for five years. She then worked as a secretary for Dr. Carol S. Ludwig of the Speech Pathology Associates for five years.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, USMC Russell E. Boxdorfer of Grandview, Mo., Neil W. Boxdorfer of Dexter; her mother and step-father Virginia and Jim Weber of Perryville; two brothers, Wayne Bohnert of Perry County, Edward Bohnert of Arnold, Mo.; a sister, Velda Unterreiner of Perryville; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Good Shephard Lutheran Church, with the Rev. William A. Matzat officiating.

Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
