Wanda Holland, 88, of Advance, Mo., passed away Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 16, 1922, at Bell City, Mo., daughter of Green and Lucy Simmons Lee. She and David Holland were married Jan. 27, 1940, in Jackson. He preceded her in death Aug. 26, 2001.
Wanda was a member of Union Grove General Baptist Church and had been a choir leader. She and her husband farmed and gardened.
Survivors include five daughters, Vivien Sue Webb of Cape Girardeau, Barbara Anne Brannon of Warner Robins, Ga., Linda Lee Boren of Cape Girardeau, Catherine Hallaway and Angelia Gail Jones of San Mateo, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Holland Jr.; and a daughter, Nancy Lee.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Albert Gene Holland officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
