Wanda Louise Gibbar, 73, of Scott City died Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital,
She was born Nov. 9, 1930, at Parma, Mo., daughter of Dee and Ruby Keller Cox. She and James "Lemie" Gibbar Jr. were married Oct. 12, 1946, in Piggott, Ark. He died May 29, 2003.
Gibbar worked at International Shoe Co. 20 years, and at Superior Electric Co. eight years, both in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas and Jimmie Gibbar of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Robert Hadley of Cape Girardeau, James Hadley of Jackson; a sister, Helen Cook of Burfordville; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
