SCOTT CITY -- Wanda Lee Fiesler, 85, of Scott City died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was injured in an automobile accident earlier that day at Kingshighway and Highway 74. She was born Jan. 29, 1912, in Delta, Ill., daughter of Joseph Clarence and Pearl Mae Dover Gearing. She and Earl "Neal" Fiesler were married May 23, 1930, at Illmo. He died Jan. 9, 1987...

SCOTT CITY -- Wanda Lee Fiesler, 85, of Scott City died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was injured in an automobile accident earlier that day at Kingshighway and Highway 74.

She was born Jan. 29, 1912, in Delta, Ill., daughter of Joseph Clarence and Pearl Mae Dover Gearing. She and Earl "Neal" Fiesler were married May 23, 1930, at Illmo. He died Jan. 9, 1987.

Fiesler had worked at Klausner Hosiery Mill. She was a member of Illmo Baptist Church, and Ladies Auxiliary to Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.

Survivors include a son, Billy Fiesler of Arnold; a brother, Stacy Gearing of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Neil Franks officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
