Walter "Wayne" Wilde, 68, of Cape Girardeau passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Southeast Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Karen Boca Wilde; loving father of Dave (Sue) Wilde; proud grandfather of Drew Wilde; son of the late Walter and Thelma Wilde; brother of the late Gary Paul Wilde; and loving brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many...
Walter "Wayne" Wilde, 68, of Cape Girardeau passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Southeast Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Karen Boca Wilde; loving father of Dave (Sue) Wilde; proud grandfather of Drew Wilde; son of the late Walter and Thelma Wilde; brother of the late Gary Paul Wilde; and loving brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

Celebration of Life service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Martin officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Southeast Health Foundation, Bereavement Fund, or Prevent Cancer Foundation, preventcancer.org.
