CHARLESTON -- Walter Jackson Sr., 78, of Charleston, died Monday, Nov. 4, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born April 10, 1913, in Coffeeville, Miss.
Survivors are sons, Andrew, Charles and Glenn Jackson of Michigan City, Ind., Willie and Slorintino Jackson of New York, N.Y.; daughters, Bobbie Kent, Goldie Briggs, Lorraine Jackson and Sheila Jackson, all of Michigan City, Ruth Norris and Brenda Hawkins of Los Gatos, Calif.; 19 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call tonight from 7 to 8 at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston.
Service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Virgil Owens officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
