PERRYVILLE -- Walter M. Brickhaus, 73, of Perryville, died Friday, Nov. 19, 1993, at his home.
He was born Nov. 5, 1920, at Milheim, son of William F. and Albertine Baudendistel Brickhaus. He and Mildred Ochs were married Sept. 18, 1943.
Brickhaus was a carpenter. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, VFW Post 4282, American Legion Post 133, Pearl Harbor Survivors, USS Nevada Association, and USS St. Louis Association. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and served two years in the Civilian Conservation Corps.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Allen Brickhaus of Golconda, Ill., Glen Brickhaus of Perryville; two daughters, Margaret Brickhaus of Cape Girardeau, Patricia Brickhaus of Dexter; a brother, Chalmer Brickhaus of Sedgewickville; a sister, Norma Huber of Florissant, and two grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Immanuel Church. The Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel from 5-9 p.m. today, and 6:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sunday.
