WALTER B. BOCK

PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Walter B. Bock of Perryville will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd will officiate, with burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:30-10:30 a.m. today.

Bock, 78, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 1994, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born Dec. 14, 1915, in Perry County, son of Gottfried and Hilda Herring Bock. He and Lovaira Lintner were married Feb. 3, 1946.

Bock was a retired edge trimmer at a shoe factory. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He had served on the church stewardship and financial boards.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Karen Bock of Perryville; two brothers, Norman Bock of Downey, Calif., Arthur Bock of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Lorrene Leimer of Perryville, and Dorothy Koenig of Hazelwood.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
