W. WALTER DILLOW

ANNA, Ill. -- W. Walter Dillow, 81, Anna Route 1, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 31, 1914, in Anna, son of Ira and Eva Pitts Dillow. He and Edith Louise Nordmeyer were married Nov. 18, 1933, in Anna.

Dillow retired as custodian at Lincoln Grade School. He was a member of Gospel of the Kingdom Church near Jonesboro. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Marjorie Myers of Cobden, Martha Doelling of Jensen Beach, Fla.; a son, Donald Dillow of Peoria; a brother, Roy "Rastus" Dillow of Anna; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. today, and Thursday until service time.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery, with military graveside rites by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.
