Vivian A. LeGrand, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born June 3, 1929 in Dutchtown to Albert and Hermina Simpher Gardiner. Vivian married Art J. LeGrand on Jan. 21, 1950, at Dutchtown.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau and its Women's Council. She worked at Florsheim shoe factory, Lowenbaums dress factory and retired from Blair Industries after 10 years of service.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 65 years, Art J. LeGrand of Cape Girardeau; daughter, Gail Pearman of Olive Branch, Illinois; sister, Myrna L. DuBost of Titusville, Florida; grandchildren, Megan (Zachary) Scott of Cape Girardeau and Dustin (Kristina) LeGrand of Jackson; and a great-granddaughter, Alyssa LeGrand.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Scot LeGrand; and a sister, Geneva Wagner.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. David Hulshof officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul's Women's Council.
