JACKSON -- Vivian Leona Straedey, 42, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 10, 1953, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of Karl and Bonnie Lackey Lipe. She and Paul Straedey were married Sept. 3, 1976.
Straedey graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1975. She was microbiology lab supervisor at Madison County Memorial Hospital from 1975-88, and had worked at St. Francis Medical Center since 1988.
She was a member of Eastern Star Lodge at Fredericktown, and attended Bethel Assembly of God Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Nicholas Straedey of the home; a daughter, Kimberly Straedey of the home; her mother of Fredericktown, and a sister, Shirley Mitchell of Fredericktown.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today, and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to service time.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Revs. Cecil Barham and Carl Cureton officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
