SCOTT CITY - Vivian Doris Niswonger, 66, of Scott City, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1993, at her home.

She was born March 14, 1926, in Chaffee, daughter of Tom and Viola Baumunk Eldridge.

She worked as a machine operator for Thorngate. She was also an attendant for McDaniel Laundromat in Scott City for many years.

Niswonger was a member of the South Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a son, Joel Niswonger of Scott City; a daughter, Darlene Coomer of Scott City; two brothers, William Eldridge of Greeley Hills, Calif., Tommy Eldridge of Grover, Mo.; four sisters, Helen Gregory of Hughes, Ark., Betty Dennis of Festus, Louise Blattel of St. Charles, Mo., Linda Talley of Bland, Mo.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, with James Campbell, elder of the church, officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
