VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Virtus L. Graves, 83, of Villa Ridge died Saturday, Aug. 10, 1991, at the Carle Arbours Center in Champaign, Ill.
She was born May 6, 1908, in Pulaski County, the daughter of James Walter and Anna Minton Harper.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mound City, Ill., the Ladies Sodality of the church and a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was a retired sales clerk with Westermann Rexall Pharmacy in Cairo, Ill.
Her husband, Francis Louis Graves, preceded her in death June 15, 1968. She also was preceded in death by a brother.
Survivors include a son, Donald Louis Graves of Sausalito, Calif.; a daughter, Annette Foster of Champaign; a sister, Josephine Morris of Memphis Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be said at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mound City. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Villa Ridge.
Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, where there will be a prayer service Friday evening.
