HOWARDVILLE -- Virginia Wade, 66, of Howardville, died Saturday, May 2, 1992, at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, following an extended illness.

She was born April 10, 1926, at New Madrid, daughter of Buddy and Lena Wade.

Survivors include a sister, Lucille Edwards of Sikeston.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Matthew's Baptist Church in Charleston. The Rev. James Robinson will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston.

Friends may call from 7-8 p.m. Friday at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston.
